Thieves in the Huddersfield area

Featured Replies

One thing i really dispise are thieves that go round nicking cars and bits off cars even more so when they are mine

Excuse the bit of a story but it started out when i rented a unit in the Honley area of Huddersfield and i left my mk2 90 spec golf outside for a week or so.

Bits kept vanishing off it, then bits kept disappearing of a friends mk2 golf aswell. We had a few names given on who had done it and we informed the police and they said they couldnt do anything. We were told it was a pair of young lads in dragon green polos who were known to do this sort of thing. The best bit is they came for there arches rolling at my place so if they knew who they were stealing off i think they might be pleaseantly surprised!

Now about 2 months ago i bought my brother a Mk3 Golf GTI in very good condition, P reg in a nice metallic grey.

Now one night about 3 weeks ago some thieving scrotes decided they wanted the car, unforunate for them its got a clifford alarm and it must have scared the living daylights out of them.

This has been reported to the police and the guy said off the record to take them down an alley and sort them out ourselves.

Fast forward now to wednesday evening (this week) my brother was filling up with fuel at a local petrol station and the alleged guy that we have been told is a known thief was there aswell. My brother trotted off over to the cash machine in the petrol station and heard one of his mates say "isnt that the golf we tried to nick down the village a few weeks ago" When my brother told me this i was ready for driving round to find them!!

One of the guys is running around the meltham area in a red polo, which I'm sure he is registered on here and hope he reads this and knows we are on to him. He frequents with a guy in a white mk2 golf that we have also been told about.

Now i have seen him a few times driving around and he waves, if only he knew that i feel like driving my matt black VR6 where the sun wont shine!!

I dont take kindly to people taking my stuff, why should i work for someone to steal stuff that i have slaved at work to pay for.

The police said they cant do anything about it and to sort it out ourselves. Any suggestions because if my car or my brothers has anything else nicked or even stolen i will be going away for murder!!

nick the wheels off his polo then offer to sell them back to him, this will prove 2 thing to him, first off that you don't give a shit about him or his mates and second that you have balls of steal and ain't afraid to use them

this could back fire spectacularly tho

Lol they have stolen from someone else around here, the guy took so kindly to them that one of the green polo's seemed to have an accident with some brake fluid on his roof. Such a crying shame.

McLovin has the right idea.

Start stealing un-normal stuff off there cars.

Sump nuts for example (if your feeling energetic the whole sump pan, and then for comedy value place it on here in the parts for sale section)

Ha ha ha ha wheel nuts, mirrors, bumpers, been known to be able to get the HT leads (tried it on a friend for a laugh)

if i was u mate i would set a camera overlooking where u store the cars, and if the bastards do come back u will

have evidence that the police can use.

but knowing me i would i would take a less peacefull route and pay there car a visit with my scaffold bar!

We are already on that, we are laying a new driveway this weekend and finishing off the new front steel gate.

It turns out since i have started this thread that a few others have experenced the wrath of the chap in the red polo.

I have his mobile number and the name i have seems to be correct as well.

I'm not a violent person at all TBH i am really laid back but this really has annoyed mec knowing that they are doing it quite often.

Hmm, I live very close to meltham and drive a red polo, my mate also used to have a white mk2 golf, although I wouldnt say i 'frequented' with him.

Your golf isnt the one with the nurburgring sticker on the back is it? If so I'm the polo that you tried to shake off down st thomas's road lol. But I have never nicked anything off anyones car, apart from maybe the odd valve cap for my bike when I was 10.

Either way I dont fancey being set upon by random blokes in golfs next time I'm filling up my car, so if you see my red mk3 coupe with the middle of the bonnet painted black then leave it well alone please. I'm sure its easy to get wires crossed with all these 'apparently's and 'we have been told's.

pm me and you are prob will get sorted cant put it here or will get banned

Whats this the club polo mafia? What you gonna do crash into them?

You could always PM him you know, that way you wouldnt have to put a message on this thread making you look like a rock hard champion ninja hitman.

8-)

its like the polo mafia here, not fun

No i dont have the nurburg sticker on my car, i drive a matt black mk3 Vr6 golf on some rather wide banded steels.

If you saw it you would know its me

Right i now have the names confirmed and cars are confirmed.

I even have places that they hang out!!

The people who are responsible will know who it is we are referring to. I even have a mobile number for one of the people!

If anyone hs anymore details or have any more information on these peope please drop me a PM

If people didnt steal things that didnt belong to them then this wouldnt be an issue.

I wouldnt mind but the cheek to try stealing the car when it clearly says protected by Clifford and a big shining red LED on the dash didnt put them off, oh and I'm grumpy as hell when I'm woken up in the middle of the night

Get a van, some rope, a spade, and take a trip to the lakes

Or if you have his address, order copious amounts of pizza to his house from every takeaway near him :)

 funny you should say that a PM has landed telling me where he lives!!

maybe i ought to go and pay the favour back and distribute his address to the angry VW owners they have nicked bits from and even let them have his mobile number.

Oh i do love how things come back to bit you in the rear end if you play with fire!!

I feel a PM now the the people involved in the thefts to let them know this thread exists  :-D

Lol i wouldnt say heavy its just people's opinions.

Oh course this being a public forum i will not be doing anything about this it will be left to the relevant authorities to deal with as it seems it gets worse fo them the more people see this. it seems that people knew about this problem but the authorities have done nothing about it. (yet)

I merely pointed out my run ins with the people and its all gone from there

ps cheers fella, its poorly though at the moment. Got an engine change planned for saturday :-D

Name and shame tbh. Give the fucker what he deserves.
