17 and on my second car after owning a mk 2 golf and just not being able to insure the thing i sold it on and after around a year waiting about settled with a little 1.0litre polo parade

After being owned by and old dear for most of its life it only has 30k on the clock with loads of optional extra's and factory fit alarm system ect.

its a bit pink but with a good polish and wash it will come up sparking! theres no rust anywhere and only needs a few little jobs before it can go for its MOT, like a new exhaust, a service inc the front discs and pads etc,and 1 CV boot.

so not a major ball ache:D

here's a couple of pictures from the add but ill get some pictures on sunday when i get her!

be sure to see it'll be dropped 40 mill on g60 steels with a smoothed grill and cat back system i hope ;D

Its called molly as when i oppend the log book a note inside read "i am molly please look after me !:)" haha

yeah mk3 lights were added after by the old dear the recipts are all for it as with a vdub fitted alarm the woman pretty much had every optional extra she could go for haha

plans are to drop it 40 m with new dampers g40 brakes with a set of g60 steels and a cat back system (the original systems shot with rust) and a smoothed grill, and a mk 2 golf cl spliter

Not bad, shame it's of the 1L variety though :-)

fair enough,ias far as i was aware they were gt lights :S

i dont recall many of them i got the full alarm system self ectending aerial I'm not too up on the polo stuff but there was allot on the spec sheet ticked

that polishing has worked really well, added value to it

carnt beleive this i seen this and offered the man who owned this car £400 cash and collect it but you was mennt to be on your way you got a great bargain good luck with it

where do i start man i used started by blasting it down then used a auto glimm colour restoring polish then washed again and cut with a light turtle wax cutting polish (that had a polish in then finally washed AGAIN and waxed with turtle wax red polish ill gett the proper names when i go out tomorrow mate

First cut was with Auto Glym Paint renevator, but that was a real bugger to buff off.

second going over was with turtle wax safe cut

then a wax with turtle wax high gloss wax as its a proper wax not a polish so very mild and leaves a protection layer behind

tomorrow it will have a coat or 2 of auto glym super resin to help seal things as this has a UV filter in it to help stop the sun fading it to pink again,

then its job done bar blacking the trim and polishing the glass.

with a load of weight in the back haha!

get the back to black out as it will look ace with the red paint

My track cars rob going away for the winter now due to needing work and upgrades so it will be full steam ahead on the polo now.

so far one side has been fully de stripped and half cleaned up (its just needs a quick going over with tar remove to get rid of the last of the glue) and the other sides half way though being cleaned up after the strips were removed.

we have also removed the parade badges and the strips and got a towing eye blank from the scrappy for the missing front one.

so all thats left now when the sides are de-gunked is another going over with the super resin polish, then the trim blacking and the windows polishing, then thats the out side done for now unless I can be bothered to clay it one weekend...

then its on to the mechanicals, (btw anyone got a manifold back system for sale for a non G40 car? as we wouldnt mind one for this, if so drop me a PM)
