Wednesday comes around and Micky decide he wants to do a full dip on his Golf before E38. So started with that, then another lad in our unit decided he wants to do the same on his Passat. So 2 cars to do a full dip on in just over a week. Reminds me of last year cause it was the same crack!!

It's the same every year!

I've done overtime all week at work, the foreman is off for a week, I'm in at 7 tomorrow, then its bank holiday monday, my MOT is up today and my tax monday!

as if!! My tax is up on monday to!! I've got to smooth my 8v bumper for edition as my 16v is cracked....as well as wet sanding my whole car and giving it another few layers....mission!!!! Good luck with everything!

i need to repaint my boot, and re-lacquer the whole car, then flat it all back and polish it all up, as well as source some cheap tyres for my wheels and flare my arches. NOT COOL! lol

i'm not going edition, just thought i'd add my tax is also up on monday

Went down to my mates garage yesterday and there is a MK2 20vT track car having some bits painted readdy for edition so youl prob see me with them .. Getting the roof and a wing done its looking mint bucket seats roll cage perspex windows .. 13k's worth of track prepped mk2 Goof .. Lush

I made some changes to my car a couple of weeks ago and i cba to rush through the next plan in just a week. It can wait, and ill go Edition as it is. I'm going to take my time over winter, and have it looking sweet for next year (maybe) lol.

Yeah we still have the loops. Mine is still on the waiting list but I'm going to give mick a kick up the arse after edition cause I want it back. He is thinking of selling his but I'm not sure if he will tbh.

Easiest way to polish dishes is to put them on ther car and let it do all the work for you. I'm far to lazy to sit and polish them by hand, lol.

I rang mick earlier, did an all nighter last night and its all in primer. Just needs some colour. Ill be down there tomorrow but I think he polans to have it in colour before I finish work.

yeah he wants to put the colour on tomorrow morning i beleive! hes going down early..

Rear badge recess put back in place as it'd been badly smoothed in the past

Back Panel re-shaped

Boot de-wipered

Any chips and scratches filled with kombi stopper

Smoothed boot plynth

Whole car blocked back with guide coat

Whole car cleaned, scotched and panel wiped

Whole car Painted

Passat:

Whole car stripped

Dents knocked out and skimmed

Any chips filled with kombi stopper

Whole car primered

Whole car blocked back with guide coat

Mk4 Golf (Was a write off):

Rear Quarter Repaired

Front end repaired

Paint removed from front bumper and plastic welded.

It was my milk delivery that saved the day!.. mmmmm chocolate milk! :-D

MK4 got painted today. I think the Passat is getting done tomorrow. I've got the day off work tomorrow so I'm flatting back the Golf for another coat of paint cause Micks not happy with whats on it. Also started smoothing my front bumper and making a smoothed plinth for my Polo.

Only been the new unit once and I think it took me more time getting there and back cos of the road than what i spent at the unit.

That road to the unit is a total nightmare.
