OZ Audio Matrix Elite 12" Subwoofer

* Available in dual 2 & 4 ohm configurations

* U-Turn Hyper Surround composed of dense UV treated foam shaped into a nonstandard profile representing a 'U'. This design accomplishes two goals: The maximized cone area increases SPL output & the surrounds taller profile allows for increased Xmax & linearity.

* A three layer cone comprised of two layers of braided glass fiber with a layer of nomex sandwiched between creates a material which is extremely rigid, yet remarkably lightweight.

* Competition style aluminum die-cast basket

* Underlap cone attachment

* The spider assembly comprised of blended cotton & nomex, called conex, results in a material that is flexible like cotton, yet has the tensile strength of nomex. Additionally, the lead wires are interwoven into the spider to eliminate breakage during extreme SPL.

* Dual wound, 2 1/2" voice coils on a glass former.

* Cross-Vent intercooling through the basket to allow the voice coils to remain cool during operation.

* 150 ounce triple magnet motor assembly

* Custom engraved chrome backplate with Oz Audio logo engraved. Additionally, the backplate has a vented radius.

These are about 2.5 years old, and as I have sold my car they have to go. They were run at about 1/12 of the max power, so have had only slight tender use (never had the need to go to extremely powerful levels). All is in Full Working Condition

Some of you may recognise the subwoofer, as it's the one that was used in the Polo of Boom, for reference

Asking price - £300 ono. (Offers well considered, as in need of cash)
