got various photos of my motor lying about so thought i would put them up on here see what kind of reaction the car gets.there are various different stages but the first pic is what it stands like at the moment :-)

as you can see its had 2 different plates on it back to original now, and i have finaly had my bonnet shaved up and washer jets relocated tidys the front end up alot :-)

Cheers guys, yea I am just trying decide on what wheels to go for I like the solitudes but they don't stand out enough at a show but winter is on it's way so thinking about waiting till start o show season before I get any wheels as the weather will ruin them before they get to a show, also got the engine to think about as I love my car but am getting bored of the lack of power think winter might mean conversion time :-)

Yeah, i'm with you on that Chrispy !! I still haven't fitted my rear Hella Spoiler yet

Not sure if I am gonna sell them maybe keep them as winters they are spaced all round 40mm, yea I wasn't keen on the bonnet matching up but had that sorted now top pic is how it is now and it matches with the wing so doesn't look out of place plus the washer jets have gone now aswel :-)

This looks proper mean from the front.

I think it needs some new headlights, something a bit more shiney like the powerlooks or something and this would look mental!

I do need some new ones as one has a crack in but going for moody not shiney so they will be going black inside like these ones along with some new indicators when I get round to it haha too lazy at moment gonna sort out the boot this week thinking making a conpartment where the wheel well is to store all the crap that is always in my boot!

shite, what tyres you running?? 185/45s or 165/50s??

mine were only spaced 20mm out back and they caught from time to time on 195/45 tyres

165/50 potanzas spaced 40mm not sure about et to be honest mine don't catch at all even with full car that's what's putting me off swapping my wheels as they don't catch at all

they will be ET3 which is silly if they are 40mm spced! at most et5 as some 4 stud solitudes i have seen at et45!

156/50 are a solid choice it seems!

yea 165/50 seems to be the one for this wheel get a decent bit of stretch too, not too up on the old et but spacers are just there to push them out abit as they are only a 6j wheel looks funny because there a really skinny wheel but are on the verge of abit of poke :-)

Do solitudes come in 4x100 and 5x100 cos id love a set in 4x100 for my 6n!

yea they came on the late 6ns i belive? in 4x100 and then came on the mk3 golfs and some corrados so i have heard and yea they come in the 2 off sets
