ahh i thought they were steffan's.. saw some on that brown Mk1 Golf in Fast car a couple of months ago - thought they were well hot!

technically its illegal and wont pass an mot , depends on how the old bill are around your area though , when I've had a smoothed front bumper mines allways at the top of the windscreen and because its visable they dont do much , but currently my car has no front plate and no front indicators and the police dont care here

They're quite a rare rim, no one seems to buy them so the places are limited.

well dubmeisters dont sell them with tyres, but also was going to get them on finance if a place allowed, abit like rimstyle with the buy pay 6 - 12 months later policies they offer. Well i was hoping a company would do that that sells them.

Sorry to bring up an old topic guys, makes me seem a little 'nooby' but to save a new topic, does halfords sell the square plates for the front or if not does anyone know where to source them?

just out of curiosity whats the rule on rear licence plates as iv currently got mine in my back window because i sheared the screw off trying to get the plate off to clean behind it lol I'm just wondering if its legal or not??

i smoothed my front number place recess and i drove round for quite a while without a plate on the front.

But got fined...so put one on the front, its attached just above my splitter, and *touches wood* haven't had a problem since.

Driving with a plate in your window or with a smaller one will just draw more attention than driving without a plate
