Hello people.

Can someone please tell me where I can get a show strut brace from, as in thick and highly polished/chrome finish.

It doesn't have to connect to the top of the suspension strut, as I'll be bolting it into the sides of the turrets using high tensile bolts.

I spoke to my bodyshop guy earlier, and he said it would be very expensive to have one made up, and would be best off buying a ready made one, but no one ready makes the thick show braces that I know of.

Has anyone got a rough idea of a price from a fabricator for something like this:

As You said, measure up and get some hollow stainless/aluminium pipe (ebay) and take it to your local engineering place.

Mate of mine done his, think the pipework cost him the most, probably coming in around the £35 mark then took it down to our local shop and guy made the flanges and welded them on for £20

Highly polished, 1.5mm thick wall but 3 inch in total diametre. The guy said it won't dent easily etc, so should be okay!

That's a roll cage, well, a show cage more likely. A strut brace is a simple single car between the rear turrets.

The car above has both a show cage and a strut brace installed.

I'm on about getting something like the brace made up, which I've zoomed in on in the second picture.
