hi lads, my name is matt am 16 need i brought this car for my little project till i start to drive next yr :), well the story i was lookin for an old car like ford fiesta mk1 , golf mk1 or some think like this but is hard to find , need at my work there was this polo sattin for little while has been fixed mot'd need ready for sale!! some people brought it but they didnt want it need they polo got back to the garage need been sitin for while , so i talked to my boss need said i give u 400 in cash now for it he said yes need this is how i got it

need i had moped peugeot speedfight 2 wich broke down need i didnt want to fixe it coz moped sucks need i said to my parents tht I'm getin a car need they didnt mind really

about the car now

Vw polo 6n before facelift 1.6 GLX

*power steering

*front electric windows need mirros

*central lockin

need thts all i think

i rather get 3dr one but i will keep this one

what i would like to do with it is

*lowered as low as it may go

*CA i got 15 inch kicker sub wich will be in spare wheel need some better speakers

*35% tinted windows all the way round i dnt want any darker

*keepin them alloys wich are on now

*when i got cash i want some ATS Cup wheels

*4-2-1 stainless manifold with straight thro xzost

* need rebuild the engine

*clean the engine bay

*put some smaller tyres on the wheels is on now

today i done few things on my car

5hours Polishing lookin mint

sprayed front vw badge black

start takin door plastics off how eva they called

debadged the boot lid

took the wiper off just need to put the plastic cover back on monday

took the screws out of rear number plate need stick on double side tape

took front number plate off need keep it inside the car

As for your plans, your 35% tint all around will be 100% illegal.

I'd also say that seeing as you are 16, why not spend more money on the body work just smoothing odd bits off, because I can guarantee that when you come to insure it, you probably won't get anything but a ridiculous high quote if you go for performance mods.

window tind i mean 35% the lightest one (light smoke)

i am on smoothing teh body work bits out and we see how it goes

Any tint apart from factory on the front 3 windows of a vehicle is now illegal mate, just a heads up.

but i ent 100% shore about the tint yet so is just an option to do it

Sounds good but if you do actually do all this make sure u insure it all ! Dont be another person who insures there car but doesnt do it correctly

yeah if I'm 16 can i get insurance on this ?? or i need to wait till 17

i know will be high but to be insured if someone brake into it or somethink bad will happen

just to let you know, you've got a 1.6 8v, not 16v :)

the 16v polo they made was a 1.4 and its completely different to yours

i didnt quote anywere yet to be honest coz I'm keepin the car in workshop so is ok but i wanna take it to my house need keep it outside there and i rather have insurance

Insurance quotes I did at 17 made a 1.6 £50 more to insure than a 1.4 8v.

At 21, a 1.6 8v is £40 more to insure than a 1.4 8v.
