lol wtf?

Those danes are crazy fuckers for sure. If it goes like he said it will, it'll shred those tyres instantly!

Mental none the less.

It probably weighs less than a BMW MINI but i bet it doesn't handle like one, even with the most mis-matched wheels in history, like those TSWs were ever gonna suit a 1983 Granada. Turbo lag just reversing off the drive? No way like,id sooner choose a brand new Suzuki Swift.

I'm not sure there is such a thing as 'lag' when your engine has about 500bhp N/A!

That'd be without those two great big turbo chargers, then? Might as well keep it n/a.

Well for a start the CCX engine is Koenigsegg's own, not the Ford unit used in the original car.

And i think turbo'ing for that much power is just impractical, the engines are twin supercharged as standard, which surely would be more useful than a turbo of that size.. plus the new ones can be tuned for Bio Fuel to push 1000bhp...

that guy is a hero .hands down to that man

surely if it was supercharged it wouldve been better to keep it that way. kills any lag and sounds amazing.

Unbeleieveble build shame the actually build thread itself isnt available although a foreign language maybee ??

I think i can relate to the attachment he has with the thing.

Square Granada's are not really my thing, but he's had it twelve years.

Some people really seem to go one of a few ways. Change all the time, keep for many years,or stick to the same manufacturer. The latter tended to be Saab owners, when they made proper Saabs.

Lag becomes fairly relative with such a large engine - as Tommo said, it's probably making circa 500bhp (if not more) without the turbos. Chap who did the engine for my old man's Jensen FF built up a 590bhp small block V8 for a customer's Ultima GTR, then later bolted two turbos on to take it to 850bhp and 900lb/ft torque.

You need a hell of a big supercharger to shift enough air for 1700bhp, so package size becomes an issue - which is where turbos start to make more sense, especially if you're chasing outright power.

this is also a massive re-post?

cool none the less
