ok so i have been thinking of uping the power i have, was gonna order a 1.4 scirocco but i figured out id have 50p to spend at end of month after paying for it so, now i am thinking i might save up and buy a 6n2 gti but i am not really into the 6n2 front so....how would i turn the 6n2 into a 6n? replace the slam pannel, wings and bonnet?

has any body done it?

also i dnt like 6n2 rear lights so can i put valver rears on in reverse to the 6n2 onto 6n mod??

so why not jus buy a gti engine and fit it into you are car lol

alot more work and alot more insurance, 6n2s are made from galvanised steel therefore alot less rust problems, interior dash swap is already done etc, I'm going with a company next who dont mind how you mod the car looks wise but give a set bhp limit so if i was going to do a engine it would be bigger than a 1.6 gti lol and therefor cost a shit load,

could any one post a pic of a 6n with the 6n2 rear end? to gauge what the car will look like over all

Brentacre do it and so do a few other companies, or so people have informed me on here! A fair few can do what they like looks wise but got a set bhp limit, just check paper work section!

as for putting a 6n front end and rear on a 6n2, am not sure but you would think it would be possible same with backwards wiring the lights to fit 6n ones but i dont know 100% but then modifyings all about finding a way to get it too fit, part of the fun lol

Ea just want the rear valver lights tbh and smooth the bumper strips and then do the 6n front would be bit of a sleeper and I could do majority of work myself unlike and engine conversion lol I'm seriously looking into it gonna finish my 6n bulid up a year or 2 ncb then start the 6n gti hybrid me thinks!

It's definatley been done, I saw a silver 6n at CP show next to the entrance with a 1.6 GTI dropped in it, no idea on the technical side of it.

^^^ dont think you read it properly mate...he wants too take a 6n2 gti and change the front end too a 6n one and wire up a set of 16v rear lights.
