I'm in need of the locking mechanism for the petrol filler cap. i have a 1997 polo

its a simple numatic operated valve that pushes a pin into the petrol filler cap. the grommet on mine has got a hole in it and is playing havok with my central locking...

the vw part number is 6NO862160A

it can be found inside the boot, on the right hand side, behind the fabric trin, behing the polystyrene, secured to the inside wing with two screwes. thats the part i need.

I'm in nantwich cheshire, or coventry so can pick up locally or on route. just give us a price that your after for it..

I'm still in need of this part. its the pneumatic part that pushes the pin out of the petrol filler bore, into the petrol filler cap thus locking it

I'm not after the pump, its the bit that comes off the pump thats screwed to the inner wing.

please help guys
