got bored so i did this

may redo them with different leds????

also did the leds in the light switch (couldnt find a ibiza) and the wing mirror adjusters

what leds did u use?

nope they both flash red now left the others original tho so they stand out lol

what leds did you use mate and how many of them do you need because i tried to do mine and i could only see the 1 ? , do you have to take the casing off the back ?

Hi depends on which clocks you have, the back lit ones have the fuel and temp guages in the top centre of the dials these are the ones I have mod'd as for the amount of LEDs used depends on what you want to change I did the dials and indicators and left the airbag/hand brake!!!

If you want I can do you a set of back lit clocks any colour just pm me

That looks the dogs bollocks mate, good work :).

Good job mate, I did mine few years back now, the only problem with these clocks is you can only change it to one colour unless you completely modify the white light diffuser inside the clocks.

They use SMT LED's which come in the mk5 Polo and mk4 golf clocks, should get enough to do a 6N set out of another spare set, or you can buy them from RSComponents. They're properly fiddly to solder in and does require some patience.

Already started mate, it's just done one set awaiting payment got another two sets to do!! One of the is going to be the mona lisa of clocks!!!

Just had a thought I may do these in exchange for parts as I am doing up the girlfriends polo!!! Currently working on changing switches colours
