For sale or px / swap with a vw caddy pickup, Golf, audi...... show me what you got.

used to be a 1.4 but has had a engine swap to a full gti 1.6 16v everything from the gti was swapped over (antiroll bars, rear beam/ discs, clocks,)

Still regestered as a 1.4 (cheap insurance) i'll leve it for the next owner to decide if they want it changed on the log.

Engine wise it will have:

Powerflow catback exhuast

BMC Carbon Induction kit

B&M Shortshifter

280mm g60 front brakes (black diamond drilled and grooved discs / fast road pads)

Goodridge braided brake hoses

Not 100% sure, but we are thinking it to be round about the 135bhp mark, since it is pretty much keeping up with my mates G40 :-D And quite convincingly put a standard GTI to shame.

Interior wise, not overly alot to be honest:

Audi TT leather front seats

GTI leather front door cards

Momo team 280mm steering wheel

Mk3 Golf interior black mirror.

Dark rear tints, medium front tints

Kenwood dnx8220bt double din head unit. (could make a deal to go with the car)

The interior is all 100% mint with barely a mark throughout!

Bodywork and chassis etc:

Smoothed front bumper

Smooth rear bumper

Smoothed sidestrips

Smoothed boot

Stubby euro spec mirrors

Gloss black sprayed mirrors

Gloss black sprayed b-pillers

Gloss Black roof with areil deleted (Roof rails also done in gloss black. most people don't do them! looks much better imo)

Side repeters deleted

GTI grille

GTI splitter

Black front grille badge

Hella black rear lights

Gti headlights with black insides

Bad points.....as with any car, there is always some badpoints:

Needs a headlining as mine was damaged where i had it stored!

Has a fairly big dent in the front of the bonnet where my mum felt the need to try and close it......... (could have it sorted before the sale.)

Also a small chip in the front windscreen, but has been repaired be autoglass.

Now i am bein very honest here and picky, but liek i said it is because i am a perfectionist and this is little points i wanted to have sorted! But overall the bodywork is really nice and if a couple of little bits like that dont bother you, then the car is nothing short of perfect in my eyes. I have spent a hell of a lot of money on this car and will be extremely sad to see her go.

I'll also include allot spare parts. (drive shafts, callipers, carriers, bonnet bra, custom fiberglass sub box)............. probly more that I've forgotten.

Full Progress topic here:LINKY

Anyways here are some pics for you guys to let you know what its all about!

The money shot :-D

I'm glad someone else said this!!!!

One of my pet hates!!!!! Really winds me up.

Police pull you over... do a few checks and they'll know the engine isn't a 1.4 (as my mate found out in his XR2i many moons ago) and you'll be fooked.

milage on engine is 54'000 and around 60'000 on the car.

Still fairly low milage for its age.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

DO NOT RESPOND TO AN ADVERT UNLESS YOU ARE INTERESTED IN BUYING!!!

simply copied and pasted from the top....... you'know forum rules.

  • 1 month later...

I owned this car before and done the conversion myself and the police actually did check under the bonnet and let me on my way.....got pulled over due to not running a front plate

Like john said, he's left it to the buyer to change it if they like!

Where has the car gone off to john? forum member? still want to keep tabs on it :)
