maybe hes fitted some inside the headlamps or hidden elsewhere

You need indicators on the side and the front.

I think Poundie had them hidden in the grills or something perhaps

its a grey area is this one...for the MOT, the front indicators must be visible from the front and side.

you can remove the side repeaters without worries as the front indicators wrap around to the side.

if you remove the front indicators aswell as the side repeaters you can fit an indicator bulb into the headlights or do what Poundie did and turn the fog lights into indicators.

either way if you remove the side repeaters and indicators leave the side repeater wiring in tact and then just stick a repeater on the side for MOT purposes
