16" BBS RX 4x100

Featured Replies

Just bought these wheels and had them refurbed to find that 3 of them are not round. Have taken the wheels to http://www.alloywheelrepairs.net/ and been told that the wheels are repairable but having footed the bill for the powdercoating and purchasing the wheels I now cannot afford the repair.

They're not so bad they dont hold air or anything like that, its just at 70 it feels like the wheels are not balanced correctly and seeing as all I do is motorway driving there is no way I could keep them the way they are.

16" 4x100 ET35 BBS RX, just powdercoated in sparkle silver.

There may be no interest in these, just would rather someone used them, going to put them up for £200 posted. Need to know before Friday if anyone is interested in these as have an alternative buyer at the weekend.

" They're not so bad they dont hold air or anything like that "

or they do or they don't hold air ?

They will hold air is what he means.

Are you sure they're not buckled or some monkey has balanced them wrong?

Tis a real shame as they're a lovely set of wheels.

If it's balancing then I'd snap them up as mine are fecked and need refurbed. I saw your post on Uk-Polos and they look "round" to me lol

Is it the ones pictured? They look fine to me?

bump.. had these on mine love the rims. good luck with sale.

Can feel the wheels are not round at speed, just feels like an imbalance but have seen them on a balancing machine and they definitely aren't round and are balanced right.

Easy fix for someone, lovely wheels and looked amazing on the car, made the polo gti look like it should have from new!

" They're not so bad they dont hold air or anything like that " don't see what the problem is with that statement but it means they do all hold air...

Any serious interest in these I need to know of before friday, would love someone to have these on their car...

Yep that's the set. They do look round but don't feel it at speed.

" They're not so bad they dont hold air or anything like that "

or they do or they don't hold air ?

if he added a comma after bad it would read that they dont hold air, as he didnt it clearly means they do hold air.

We all know though that people have massive problems with grammar and punctuation on this site!

I think they round, it must be wheel balancing. You would know alot sooner if the wheel wasn't round.

Why don't you just measure the diametre of the wheel at a few different angles, if it's the same all the way round must be a round wheel. Common sense thing to do tbh

I'm no English Teacher but he should of put..... They're not so bad THAT they don't hold air... imo....

I can't see how the WHEELS aren't round... are you sure they TYRES didn't have a flat spot or something?

Or is there a fuck off flat spot on the rear of one of the wheels????

100% they are balanced right, the wheels are slightly egg shaped when you spin them, cant really see it just looking at them in a photo but when you consider the wheel is doing over 1000rpm at 70 mph you're going to notice, I can vouch for that.

Anyway, the wheels are still for sale and if anyone thinks they can buy them and balance them better then go for it. The reason I have advertised them as needing repaired is so that someone doesn't get a shock when they buy them as I did, I'm just trying to be as honest as possible here.

Cheers.

2 of them need done, could live with the other 2, one of the guys there said he'd do it for 100 a wheel.

Any interest, even offers for them let me know, will listen to anything not too ridiculous!
