Mk4 - Steering Wheel Height Adjustment Lever

Featured Replies

Can anybody help me ?

The lever in my Mk4 keeps coming loose and my steering wheel randomly drops whether i'm on a straight (not so bad) or going round a roundabout.

Has anybody else had this ? And if so, how did you cure it ?

Or, does anybody have any suggestions on how to set it to a fixed height ?

Cheers,

Scott

I managed mine without taking the dash apart. Just had to take the lower glove box out and the steering wheel off to make it a little more accessible ;)

cheers mate-ill probly live with it at the moment,I'm pushed for time on painting the car matt black, it just gets annoying, and pretty dangerous going round roundabouts ect with the steering whell dropping between your knees!
