tyres for G60 steels?

Featured Replies

I'm thinking about buying a set of G60 steels for my 6n, there 15x6 and I'm unsure of what size tyres to buy.

needless to say, they have to be on a budget as the Proxys for my Steffans have drained me of money.

so what sizes do people recommend?

but are those sizes on a budget because i dont plan on getting Proxys and having stretch on them.

i just want something with low profile thatll get the car through winter and MOTs.

Go for 175/50/15 Kumho's! Cheap and slight stretch!

I've got 195/45's on mine.

I've found 2 types of tyres I'm interested in, but unsure on which ones to go with.

first been Toyo Proxys - 195/50/15 at £119

second been Nankang NS2 sports- 195/45/15 at £110

i know from a price sense, the Nankangs are better. but which ones would people say are the best out of the 2.

Never had any problems with my Nankangs. Good looking tyre too in my opinion

Id go nankangs rob - the 195/50/15 proxys will be too big for your ride height

165/50/15s ftw !

x2

At what point, i.e. how low do you have to be, before 195/50's become a problem?

My mk4 is lowered 40/50.
