I'm getting it right first before I can get it remapped.

Got the aquamist ;) fixing the charger and playing with the brakes currently. Also making a new gauge display so quite busy.

Good to see progree being made Jon :).

More toys :)

Awaiting delivery of aquamist system and new pipercross air filter I've brought before anymore progress can be made. Afew more bits painted up and charger ready to be stripped down for inspection.

Hope there is no nasty surprises mate :).

Should hopefully just need a new seal installed properly.

Agreed, that seal doesn't look good.

Might take a look later.

Waiting for the DHL chappy with my parcel :)

Awesome work Jon - its coming on nicely after all that happened. You've turned it around mate, fair play for sticking at it 8-)

i'm in no rush really to get it moving again so might as well do things and make sure they're perfect 1st time.

Once this is all rouded off and all the components are working in harmony and as they should it should be a beast of a car.

You sure deserve it with the amount of coin, time and anger you have jazzed on it :-)

Cheers :)

my aquamist kits arrived :) GREAT SUCCESS.

I'll have to download the manual (Which I've already read through once) so I can lay all the bits out and work out what goes where before I start the installation.

Pics to follow soon...................

Sounds good buddy :). We both had mail today (check my blog later ;D).

yet my other parcels now at the sorting office :(

if i get good weather tomorrow (doubtful :(), i can get cracking on sorting the air intake out.

Aquamist pump and charger neatened up ;)

Foam filter + supercharger = [potential] Destruction

well we'll soon see ;)

It was near as damn it the only filter made by a decent company i could find which would fit in the space i have. Dont really want to run the filter next to the charger so thats why i brought this one.

Good stuff. I hope bits of foam don't fall off and go into your 'charger or engine but if they did you may well fuck things over.

doubt the foam would get past the intercooler?

It wasnt exactly a cheap filter so hopefully that stands for something.

Been looking for new bits for the aquamist today. Looked on ERL website but half the suppliers in the UK arent trading anymore i dont think :(

Looks like I've got to order direct from the company in the U.S :(

More damn import charges! Lets hope they're still trading.

They sell direct, based in Sussex I think...

ah, cheers :)

I maybe in luck that i have enough pipe. Just got to check on space in the bay first and work out if everything assembles the way round i have it.

I've decided wirings whack!

I think I've worked out how it wires in by studying the wiring mess I got with it.

Need to sort the wiring out as it's joined with connectors in places and might as well be a good job.

Going to fix the pump in sometime this week. Will be enough room for a decent sized tank too ;)

1000th post update...........

Nothings really happened :(

Got abit more of the water injection kit installed but it got dark quick so gave up. Just gotta sort the wiring out for it, buy and connect the tank and plumb the injector into the boost line.

Need to create a splash guard for the air filter to stop it getting soaked and coated in muck off the road. Time to research into carbon fibre abit more as my first effort was crap!
