sorry max, i love em tho so gotta keep pimping!!

no chance can they stay on the clio, won't fit over my front brakes for a start, lol and wont give enough grip to lay the 270 mad french ponies down ;)

At the risk of sounding cliche. Could you not get some bigger steels and get them banded? Looks mint on those hoops!

i could but i prefer the clio to be fast road/track inspired rather than euro fella, as said i just stuck that one wheel on for a laugh really, didnt expect such a positive response!lol

plus i dread to think how you'd set about stretching an r888 tyre onto a phat ass 15" x 9j or so banded steelie, them things are stiff as hell on the side walls, takes stupid pressures to get them to pop onto 7j rims like mine in 195/50 flavour as it is!

plus 13" mattigs on a clio's been done before, mate winston had them on his old rsibrid clio few years back 8-)

not to mention ronals on a hybrid and bbs on a williams

just had another look at these pics and damn that clios tidy! I'm not use to seeing them with arches on the back there usually just crumble :p

lol, yeah they suffer bad on the rear normally, but this one was pretty clean when i bought it and its recently had a full respray including the rear arches sorted completely, so it should...touch wood....be mint for a few years to come 8-)

Just use an axle stand next time and save all this commotion. :p

Move it off the slope.

get some 14'' mattigs.

  • Author

try again, would need at least 15's get over the 4 pots ;)

moving off the slope was more hassle than swapping rims

anyway i like to kick up a fuss :-p
