Vehicles seem to be recovered alot easier nowadays especially newer ones.

ANPR would soon trigger that if it happened to be driving past, even with false plates.

Trouble is it's 'just' a passat. I doubt most cops would know that is not your normal rep mobile :p

pretty shocking that, Ino its just a passat, but you see a r36 and they pretty much stand out.

Doubt it will be missing for too long, Probably have its plates changed e.t.c

its prop in a different country or in a garage getting parts taking off and shipped sumwhere or dumped somewhere or its a ringer usein false plates

It was on Vagwales that the information was first posted and we have a lot of members living along the entire length of the A55 especially between Bangor and Holyhead that would know this car.

dont mean to sound like a cnut but this will already have been stripped for everything, numbers ground off it and be in 4 big chunks in a dodgey scrappy getting weighed in.

4 chunks is too much, they'll take the tags and numbers off, then cut it into at least 8 pieces with a stihl saw :)

All the running gear and engine/loom/ecu/clocks or anything else of value will be stripped of any identifying marks and then stored.

The pieces will then be weighed in, either at a friendly scrappy or at several scrap yards.
