All the running gear and engine/loom/ecu/clocks or anything else of value will be stripped of any identifying marks and then stored.

The pieces will then be weighed in, either at a friendly scrappy or at several scrap yards.

Majority of cars that are stolen are left secured and abandoned for a couple of days to see if anyone comes for it. If not, then they'll take the car away and do whatever they do. I work for Tracker in the Control Room so i come across every theft scenario's everyday. I even asked your friend on Edition if this was Tracker fitted. Surprised VW didn't install one on a car of this type, especially when they fit them to all sorts of other VW's!

this man speaks the truth it will have been taken and with a few hours be in a unit and stripped for parts. and cut up and bit by bit and disposed of gradualy

Yeah my mate's van was nicked off his parents' driveway last year along with their Focus. None of it has turned up again, and the Police have said to expect it never will.
