I had to scrap my red one since I had no where to keep it after getting kicked out of the old unit. I thought I best get another one now we have a unit again. I'm just using it as a day to day run around until my Lupo gets finished. Pretty much standard 1.0L I got off Qwerty on here, other than it has a GT trim and GT steering wheel in it. Clean shell but does have quite a big dent in the quarter, you can't see the dent in the pic but you can see the rust in the pic.

Wondered up to Scotland to get a GT lump out of a crashed GT. Its pretty manky and just generally looks untidy so set about cleaning the gearbox today. Looks much better now.

Stripped a couple more bits of the engine. Need to get another box to put bits in before I start to take stuff off and lose it. Then I can get on with cleaning it up!

Had the day off work so decided to put the lowering kit on the car and a few other bits and bats.

Had a bit of an issue with the fronts. The thread on the new shocks are different to the ones on the old ones. So the old castle nut and top nut don't fit. Luckily the guy in the unit next door deals with all types of fastenings so gonna see him tomorrow.

Running lights should be easy to do on a mk2. I had them on my Jetta as well (small indicator like mk2 Polo).

The engines actually out of one of Richards old cars (genesis gt).
