Just tidying up the advert..

Up for sale is my 1996 Polo 6n SE.

It is a 1.4 8v, cheap to run and insure.

Currently on 87k miles.

Tax until March 2010.

MOT until August 30th 2010, passed with no issues at all.

The car is metallic black, and is cleaned at least once a week using very high quality products.

Unfortunately i have no service history with the car, but i have receipts for the recent service carried out by myself, consisting of:

Front brake pads and disks, engine flushed, Castrol GTX oil, oil filter, spark plugs.

Modifications:

TA Technix coilovers.

FK Powerlook Projector headlights.

FK clear indicators and side repeaters.

UK/German spec 16v rear lights, no reverse light.

SE/16v bumpers, front upper side grilles and plate recess smoothed.

Fog lights are incomplete and not wired up, so aren't included.

6n2 GTi splitter, colour-coded.

German font pressed plates (have plastic UK plates for MOT).

Rear wiper blanked (have motor spare but not arm/blade).

JOM debadged grille.

Heater dials and switches from Ibiza (light up red).

Stubby aerial.

Being an SE you get some decent options not available on all 6n's.. dark plastic interior, 16v bumpers, 16v rear lights, electric mirrors, factory green tinted windows, 2 glovebox's (lol)...

Bad points:

Being a 13 year old car it's not perfect.. i do my best to keep the paintwork tiptop, it has been machine polished and comes up great, but there are some minor scratches here and there, some little key marks around the handles as it was owned by an old person before me.

Some stone chips on the bonnet.

Stress mark on the front bumper, where the smoothed part has been hit by some idiots football.

For it's age the car is basically rust-free, the only bits i know of are 2 bubbles on the passenger door, one is under the bump strip, about the size of a 10p and the other is above that and about the size of a pea, neither have broke through the paintwork.

Openair roof has 2 small tears on the edges, this seems to be very common now due to the age of the car.. these are being sealed up though so they wont leak or anything, the roof and motor still work fine and is a great addition to have in the summer.

Car will not come on the Steffans in the pictures (unless an offer is made for the car plus them).

It will come on some standard wheels (steels or standard alloys) with all legal tyres.

The car will be ready to go on the 18th of December.

They're from a 6n2 too so will go STRAIGHT into a 6n or another 6n2, and I've got the wiring for the heating ready to be connected.

what comes with the car at £2000 mate?

Realistically just the car mate.. Smoothed front bumper, gti splitter, FK Powerlooks, coilies, german spec rear lights etc..

If you wanted the car with the seats or sub etc.. a deal could be arranged..
