Wellers off a ford

Featured Replies

Ok so I'm looking at buying some 14" wellers off a ford and there 4x108 but they have embossed bits inbetween the stud holes where another set of stud holes can be drilled my question is could I get them re drilled to 4x100 as I don't wanna drill up my hubs etc, plus it would probably help with value of them come resale time, anyone know any good places for getting this done? Cheers

best off trying and engineering machine shop. pretty sure you can redrill them though

bin having a think and i thought u could use adapters as I've read that there not safe due to the centre bore, and they crack, but i think the offset would be too large!, i could put oldskool audi hubs on but i would like to keep it the same, i dont want 13" other wise i could get some to fit, so can i get some THIN adapters so i dont get alot of poke and put abit of stretch on?

does any one know the maximum offset for a 6N?

cheers

Wellers are redrillable if you can find a decent engineering place. Probably be cheaper than a set of adapters too.

So long as you keep the new holes away from the old holes (ie 45 degrees out) you can weld the old holes up.

Yea but the centre bores are looking pretty dangerous!

I would do but the centre bores are mahoosive and the 4x108 stud pattern is right on the edge! So drilling wouldn't be the best solution I'm going to talk to an engineer I know and see what he says!
