Indeed.

60mm drop required @ least and if u do u wanna be on 15's or 16's

to pull of 13's or even 14's for that matter you are gonna need 100mm drop..

sit two fat mates in the back, thats about a 40mm drop/

30mm and 40mm are basically no drop at all - will get your standard tyre to be slightly closer to the arch. Combine that with smaller tyres and your gonna have a stupid archgap....

Something like this

seriously why do you lot even bother replying?

maybe he wants to lower it a bit but keep some practicality? 30-40mm is like nothing at all?

well infact no its like, erm, 30-40mm lol

it really depends what you are looking for, browse the gallery and maybe if you see a stance height you like, ask them what they are rocking...

I dropped my MK4 80mm front and 70mm rear at the weekend on 15's and it sits like this. I'm gonna go another 10mm front and rear if possible.

It wasnt that, i think it was the fact he was looking at running 13/14s. Personally i was trying to disuade him from running that size wheel with not much lowerage i.e. massive arch gap

Thanks mate :)

I'm sorry, but the arch gap will be horrific still. I think mine is bad and it's dropped 80mm on 15's! Imagine the gap on 14's! What profile tyres are you going to be using?

its only a temporary measure until i can afford some coilies... but its up to me aint it and its what i want at mo :)

Yeh, no one never said it wasn't upto you lol. It's your car. I would personally get some shorter springs than 40mm, or save my money and save some more and get Coilovers. You can pick up second hand sets for £80-£100 depending on make.

I've thought about tht .... but i already have the springs and got a set of standard shocks ...

I'm still gona put em on .. :)

Arch gap isn't AID's  Depends what you are looking for. Standard 6N wheels with standard tyre profile any drop is going to be an improvement surely?? Though if you are wanting to make your car look low you will have to go more than 30-40mm.

I have seen the stickered up wheels in the flesh and they look cool :-)
