Its raisers were after nt lifters were nt retarded lifters an raisers totally diff so its raisers to stop future confusion !

Look easy enough to make? Allen head bolts and washers seem to be more common than what's shown below. Can be £30 for a set of polished blocks for a Ford, crazy Ford owners and their polished bits!

I made my own out of an old roof rack took about an hour to make and fit. I put a block below the hinge raising the entie bonnet and hinge assembly, I just messured the length of the hinge, and the gap between the holes and drilled it out.

that the sort of thing you were looking to make?

i used solid plastic block [in the trade] on my rover turbo under the hinges and used longer bolts, and when bought my mk2 polo, already raised by removing the back bolt from hinge to bonnet on both sides, lifting bonnet and putting bolts back in bonnet only above hinge, making bonnet sit highier, not sure how safe this is so changed back now.
