this polo could be one of the best..love the sleeper look but it does need a set of rims..17s are shit.i used to have sum on my first 6n2 and it made the drive shit and i ended up crashing..but i got 15s now an once lowered makes a 6n2 look wikid.. i wouldnt go for bbs because thats the norm but go for something u like thats rare.and i like the bonnet.looks ace

No it's the Backdraft Big Turbo kit which use the Garret GT2860RS.

I'm worried about space though so gonna speak to a few companies before buying the kit as it's not cheap!

If it won't fit I'll get a KO4 Hybrid so should be running a touch over 300bhp!

as for room.. my mates running a gt28 in a lupo... so there is room... JUST!

Well the GT28rs kit is up for sale at a bargain price considering it's a £4k kit new. So if i can i'm having it!

i know someone who's selling a cheap catD polo for 7.5k - if you can afford it, it wasn't badly damaged obviously as the repairs only cost slightly more than the 8k ish the car was valued at!

Yeah i'm running KO4 with 3" DP, Decat, Induction Kit, FMIC, DV etc etc... I just want more now... getting the power down in first and second in the dry is very hard but once you're in third, fourth and fifth i'd like a bit more poke! (not that it isn't silly quick atm!)

so you should be around 275 mark? i have the same set up as you pretty much, thought about BT gt etc but much over 320 will need rods upgrading at the very least and you know once you've got the engine in bits it's be uprated bolts, pins, pistons etc etc.

i think i'm going to go with a hybrid k04, cr turbo's quoted an output of upto 350 with the right mods, i'm not sure the stock mani could flow enough to hit 350bhp but to be honest i'll be happy with 310 - 320 ponies, as i already have the k04 i've been quoted £750 ish for recon my turbo +hybrid internals.

as it stands mine pulls to the redline in every gear inc 5th and 1 gear is a waste of space - it's such a heavy car it just wheel spins.

out of interest what fuel pump and fpr are you running mate?

I'd say around the 275/280bhp mark... my TT was 269bhp with just a stage 1 remap and forge TIP.

I believe it's a 4 bar FPR, Not sure on the Fuel Pump. I presume it would be a TT 225 one.

I believe you can run up to 340bhp with std internals... i know of Ibiza's running the IHI kit at over 335bhp on std internals which have been on for over 20k miles with no issues.

I'd be happy with a touch over 300bhp tbh... it's just this big turbo kit isn't that much more than the hybrid... well it is but in comparisson to what the kit is new it's less than half price!!!! And I can always run slightly lower boost to achieve around 320bhp... but have room to play if i decided to go for mad internals one day.

yea the AYP is one of the stronger bottom ends and are 'apparently' good for anything upto 350 as is the BAM and AGU lumps.
