Oh really??? I've never heard a bad word about them (not that i'm that knowledgable about wheels!).

I'm gonna sort out the interior... if I prefer it then i'm going to look into some sort of boost / map controller so I can have it running low boost for daily driving. I never thought I'd say something like this but it's just too powerful sometimes.

The problem is what do I get after this???

The Type R is more sensible but it's a Type R and although everything about it makes sense I dunno if I could be happy with a Civic. A DC5 would be better but then that's not exactly a comfortable everyday car. I'd like an Evo 7 but then that's the same issues as the DC5.

Only 2 cars that i'd really really like next is an R32 or an e46 M3... but to get a decent example of either of them I need an extra £6k which will take until next year to save.

So keeping this and improving it seems like the best option at the moment.

evo 7 recaros should sit fairly low in your polo, think there almost the same as recaro speeds, and they sit pretty low in 6n2s (on recaro frames). think theyll look mint :)

If I don't get the Evo 7's (which are more like sportlines) then a set of DC2/DC5/EK9 Recaro's which are the speeds will do nicely.

The Sportlines are a bit nicer on longer journeys though... especially when you're a bigger lad!!!!

Nah I wouldn't go fwd again. I said this when I had my Ibiza Cupra... then I got the polo after a few RWD cars and the Quattro TT.... that's another reason why i've gone off the CTR idea.

Very very very small update but got some Aero Twin wipers... OMG what a difference they make!

I also fitted some little Alpine active bass box (well it's tiny!) under the passengers bucket seat... It adds a nice little boom to the sounds and it's not on show and it only adds about 2 kg's! win win!

aero wipers definitely FTW! such a difference. for me its little changes like that make all the difference. wipers, HIDS, heated leather. all have made my life better!lol

Well what a shit week this has been... Got made Redundant and then some knob has hit my drivers side wing mirror!!!!!

Luckily I'm in Recruitment (so have a fair few contacts and a good reputation) so I've got a new job already BUT... My drivers side wing mirror is the LHD passengers one... how hard is it going to be to source the glass???

I paid £50 for the pair of my mk5 stubby heated electric mirrors. They're OEM too and have the blue tint glass :)

thats because i'm a proper dubber though and get myself dirty in scrapyards... built not bought

my bro's r heated and electric too with that blue tinted glass. supose the extra price might have been coz they were built onto mk4 golf bases.
