so my 'tailgate open' warning light is constantly lit on the dash of my 6n2,

when the boot is actually open it shines brighter, then dims when the boot is shut, any ideas why its lit up when its shut?

the catch and the lock etc seems to work fine on the boot, I was thinking maybe water might be leaking from the rear washer which may be hitting the electrics internally maybe?

thing is I cant work out how to remove the plastic section on the inside of the boot lid to have a look, scared ill break it....

any ideas?

or anyone know best way to remove the plastic inside?

There's two inner handles on the plastic inner trim.

There's a torx bit in each of them, then the trim clips off
