Just purchased a polo gti. It runs and drives apparently but a mechanic said it leaks oil due to low compression ( sounds wrong but anyway) . The gearbox will select all gears except 4th. The car is mint with 47k so i wanna put it back to its former glory.

Anyone with a engine and gearbox let me know.

it must have had a hard life then..

Its had 2 previous female owners...apparently the woman was using it with near no oil in it. the gearboxes are shit on them as everyone knows on this forum lol
