Hi,

This is my first post on this forum so apologises if it's posted in the wrong section. I am after a bit of advice, our parked Polo GT (2004) was hit by one of our neighbours on Monday evening, he was reversing out of their driveway and tried to swing round to do a three point turn to go out of our street forwards and hit our car , he clipped and cracked the offside rear bumper and his wing mirror clipped the Polo's rear window, which shattered.

Now after speaking with neighbours today who witnessed the accident said he must have been going at some speed to shatter the Polo's rear window and that his van shook after he had hit our car, we're trying to get an idea at what sort of speed the guy would have needed to be going to shatter our rear window. Any help would be much appreciated as this isn't the first time that this set of neighbours has caused damage to cars on our street, unfortunately ours has been the one that's come out worst.

Sounds pretty fast to me, my passenger slide glass shattered once outside a mates house at 1:00 AM. I had another mate who came up to my door holding his driver glass saying apaprantly it fell into his lap! Its random stuff, glass!
