I've been a little bit annoyed with my 6n for the last month or 2. First the gearbox starts to howl. Found a new gearbox & clutch kit. Still needs to be fitted. Then while I was having a look at some of the rust scabs on the drivers side I put a hole through the sill!

So it's going to need some TLC from the bodyshop. I've me a good reason to get the arches flared & rolled along with a semi-smooth front bumper.

I've just done a deal today for a new set of wheels for the car. I swopped a new set of G60 steels plus a few £££ for these:-

I also removed the rust bonnet and replaced it with the original black one. The suspension has been raised by 10mm at the back and the front is the same as it was. But i'm going to have to raise the front by 10mm and the rear by another 10mm, to stop it scrubbing so badly!

other unusual parts are winging their way to me from germany as we speak too!

yeah the new wheels are Comp TH Mono's, just been refurbed with 195/45/15's the fronts are Toyo's and the rears are Kumho's. Rears are definately slightly wider than the fronts - maybe just swop the wheels front to back!

£360 was with the tyres - price amended due to the knackered tyres! I'll even post them out for an extra £25!

yeah 8x15's! I've been here before with my last 6n. It had 8x15's on it too!

Just been out this morning and raised the front by 15mm and the rear by 20mm so the wheels clear the arches. I've also retro fitted some orange front indicators. Its totally transformed how the car looks! :-)

just thought i'd give the orange a try. My 16v is a really early one and it came with them when it was new. there is alot more body mods coming!

I totally agree with you there mate...

Just thought i'd have a change of direction! Just never had enough ££££ to get another set of wheels until now. Bonnet was easy. Indicators were free!
