basically my car insurance is due on the 14th and I'm 21 on the 16th and i have got to change insurance as churchhill dont accept mods if your under 25.

so got a quote from admiral 800 on my gti then put in a quote saying I'm 21 now 150 quid cheaper so for being due 2 days before I'm 21 i have to pay an extra 150 quid. can i can round this any other way apart from not insuring my car for two days

ring them up and explain the situation, say that you will go with them if they can do it for the same price as if you're 21.

If not can you be carless for 2 days?

don't really wanna go without insurance, plus already asked that with three companies and parents is a good idea but not sure.

I'm thinking of getting insurance starting on the 14th, pay for it, then you have 14 days to cancel it and still get a full refund. so cancel it on the 16th or 17th, so will be covered for the days then getting a new policy. basically get insurance free for those couple of days.

this is the best bet... they may seem like nice people but insurace companies defo want your custom!

if not use one of them temp insurance people for 2 days (as it is illegal to have un-insured car on the road) my bird got a quote for a month of insurance for like £28... i think it actualy worked out (£28 x 12) cheaper than her quote for the whole year!

trouble is most people usually won't give you cover if you are under 25, or at best under 21..

just give em a ring matey.. some of them are actually decent human beings! (so I'm told..)

u can get tempory insurance for 2 days only mate, check the net.

for the sake of 150quid id walk or do anything but drive for 2 days!

Buses or taxis for 2 days wouldnt cost £150 lol.
