Thats IMPOSSIBLE, on a 6n2 with just a rolled arch. Running really low with a 185 is probably going to give you grief at full lock, running a 215 regardless of height unless you plan on running it at stock ride height (which would look terrible) is asking for trouble lol.

Let me put it to you like this, my corrado (has huge arches compared to my old 6n2) used to have 195/40s on a set of 16s and drove fine, the tyres had less than 5mm of space between them and the liner up front when stationary and it still didnt scrub much at all when driving hard. I then went to 17's of the same width and offset BUT with 205/40's, raised the coilys by 10mm and my arch liner is now torn in 3-4 different places and i cant get more than 1/2 lock without the car making silly noises, if i try going past 3/4 lock my wheels no longer rotate.

Point in the above is, rado arches are a lot bigger than polos and u want to run a bigger tyre than me and I'm having all these problems. Not a good idea. If you want 17's 195/40 is the bare minimum though personally id say 185/35 but then with your beast of a polo it would be silly to run nankangs lol.

My opinion, run 16s with porka brakes or an audi S2 setup with G60 disks. If u can find ibiza cupra brembo's they'd make for a nice simple swap though.

Oh, ET13 after adaptors is super duper impossible, even with a 185/35 that would need arch pulling/flaring.

I'll end up with 16's I think... I just know even with 16's Ibiza Cupra R Brembo's are tight on OZ's and MO's!!! They won't fit under std Ibiza Cupra 16's hence why most run 17's.

I'm running 280mm discs with Ibiza Cupra Calipers... and they're fine... i just wanted some brembo goodness!

Me thinks a set of S2 calipers would do u good. They're a relatively easy swap and u can use your G60 disks, i think they're 2 pot but are a lot bigger than standard g60/16v calipers.

I see my Polo have been mentioned here. So then I can throw out some facts. :)

I am now running 7,5x17 ET40 with spacer in front and back.

In front you need ET30 just to get clear of the helpers (on my supersport, but that depends on the length of the springs. 17s goes HIGH up on the coilovers).

I have 18mm spacer, ET22, no archwork and no scrubbing at all. not in speed, full lock anything.

On the back I have 25mm spacers, ET15, to get the poke. Loads of room on the inside. I have rolled the arches very light back. This works great with the lowering that is on the pictures, but it requires a very stiff coilover!! It have a very litle scrubb back with 25mm spacers in 120km+ bumps etc, nothing when driving normal. 20mm spacers is no scrubb at all :)

Just my own experience with 17s on 6N2 :)

But remember, if you do it, do it rigth. use 185/35-17, or just choose 16s
