awesome.

you should draw a hotdog, posing on it too.

that just would not be expected!

nice drawing tho!

That's class. Very good indeed. I don't think there's out wrong with the wheels! Love the tree air freshener detail.

haha oops i can see what you mean now, changed the title lol

Print out and trace job or?

haha ah man theres been a discussion about it on ed38 lol

most people get it but some dont.

i did a crude trace in layout pad to achieve the proportions & the general layout in pencil before then drawing from the photo in pen. its all very well calling it cheating but because a car is such an exact shape & lines it would seem silly not to get a layout before applying the finish which is where the skill is.

so in answer to your question yes its a trace but dont hate on me haha

I like it, you should do more

That's sweet mate.

On one of the forums i used to be on there was a guy who would draw your car in the kool art style and frame it for you and send it out for about £20 I think.

[censored strop] on edition man!

tracing a base copy is how most artists work anyway if they're painting something like this, like you said you need to get basic lines and proportion or it will look shit, I'm an artist myself..if you find the art thread i put a few of my high scholl pieces using the same basis of a trace!

looks cool man! get it on photoshop and bang some colour in, or email me the pic and ill bust a painting out over the next few weeks on canvas?

I agree, cars are so easy to get wrong. Although sometimes a wonky drawing can have a lot of character and can be endearing. Things don't have to be perfect with art. Although a car forum full of enthusiasts of said car is not the best place to show it as they usually like things perfect and can spot a bad line a mile off :-)

AWSOME. Love it, great drawing tooo!

cheers guys

some people dont understand, in graphic design especially, theres quick methods such as doing layouts etc which simply save time & improve the finished outcome, but some just see it as cheating. if it was a pencil sketch from trace i would understand cos the lines can be hairy & done several times over. but with pen in this style the lines need to be done once, perfectly! lol thats where the skill is involved so cheers jim & dublass :D

i posted another pic on there to show them i can 'draw without tracing' haha

Grrr I'm a sketch what you see/think guy, not really into tracing

Still looks cool though

ah me too man, but i felt a graphic line drawing was more appropriate for a car.

i prefer sketching/drawing portraits like this:

H2 pencil & red biro of my girlfriend

jordaaaaaaann_2.jpg

That is very good indeed :-D

Its quite 'manga'-esque 8-)

Thats cool, and cute that you drew your girlfriend :-)

She looks v.nice mate .... and the drawing :)
