Would 185/60/14 tyres fit on my mk2 breadie

Hi there am looking for some wheels and my mate is selling some tsw alloys which are currently on his mk2 Golf , hes gone on holiday so i cant get them to try them on for 2 weeks ! I just woundered would they fit on my mk2 Breadvan ? Am no good at this sort of stuff its my first car so struggling ;) Any help would be apprecaited . Cheers Adam

The wheels will go on if they were the right offset for the Golf,but the tyres are too big - you'll get scrub at the front so i dont have much hope for the back.

i have no hope for the back... will defo scrub, no doubts.

What would u say is the best fit for 14 inch rims then ? cheers for the advice Adam

155/60 r14 if you can get hold of these you may stand a chance but as you asked about 185/60 I'm guessing your wheels are 6j wide?

yer there 6j wide . would 14 inch 100 pcd, 6.5j bbs rims fit ? Also is it hard to put mini superlite 13's on ? Cheers Adam

arches are likely to rub the sidewalls of the tyres at the back (did on mine) and to be honest i know nothing about superlites.

the centre bores the need machining or something?
