Well, until some progress starts with the polo, thought some of you may like a little peek at the bug. Its now off the road for about 6 months, or until I finish it

Plans for the winter are as follows:

Engine

Strip engine and split the case in order for new crank bearings, new crank, cam etc etc etc!

1641 Barrels and pistons

Twin 36 carbs, not decided which ones to go for yet

and all the other usual bits and bobs. Will also be blasting and powder coating all the tinware too.

Bodywork

Remove all rust :-D

Respray

Then it will just be a 2" narrowed front beam, and things should be all good.

The colour scheme will definatly be staying, although I'm thinking of using the focus st orange, and maybe a nice pearlescent white. However I don't want it to look too new if you get me?!
