went a few weeks ago... just be careful about police, at 125mph its a 1k euro fine if you get pulled I think.

Also, french people don't appreciate you passing them at 135! :p

driving in france is top, my dad has a house in brittany. the roads there are amazing

when i first went i was 18 and i think you have to have been driving for 12 months

and I've never seen a police car on french rural roads, and about 2 speed cameras in the whole time I've spent over there [i've been going since i was about 2] :)

They have a much better system than the UK... They take you to the cash machine to get the money!!! Its called on the sport for a reason!

Also speed camera detectors (the laser kind) are illegal (I'm not sure about the GPS kind). If you get caught with one even if it is not on then its a big fine.
