Right my insurance is up for renewal. ang round a couple of places the first been Admiral. Came up with a really good price for fully comp insurance but heres the catch, my currant insurer Quinn Direct allows me to drive other cars with the owners permission but only covers 3rd party. So i can drive my Dads car when i need to go out, whilst my car is off the road been worked on if that makes sense.

But with admiral, i have got to be over 25 to be able to get that option with them.

So does any one know of any other companys ie brentacre, etc that allow you to drive other cars but still covered??? if that makes sense.

Go On Quote me today web site tell them you do part time repairs or buy and sell a couple of cars and get a trade quote from them, I can have 15 cars in my custordy and 5 cars on my policy 3rd party for only £580 a year with 6 years no claims. You can then drive your granny's moggie minor or a ferrari and you get social domestic and pleasure on there policy.

i have my car with adrian flux and the missus is with brentacre. Both let you drive other cars (but we are both over 25 so dunno about that...)

Qunn's let me drive other cars when i was 17! But now i'm with admiral and they let me do it until i'm 25.

Stupid, at 17 as sson as i passed my test i could drive my dads range rover, but now despite having a year of no claims, and some real experiece behind i'm confined to a 1.3 polo

NFU let me drive any other car third party, that was when I was 18.

apprently dirct line are the same but i read thro their policy and it dont say anything about being over 25 to drive other cars and i paid more for fully comp so i could drive my dads car for the same reson as you. but have heard you have to be 25 for this to work . i would like to know how people know this because they dont tell you in all the info that they send you.

It's quality both my brothers aren't insured for other cars but I can freely drive any car in the household, I asked for a blast of my dads M3 and he goes you can once your insured, so needless to say showed him the small print and was out in the beast...
