1.4 16v polo engine

Featured Replies

i have been have been buildin my project car for while now and got the engine sorted but now have decided to run something bigger. it is the standard 1.4 16v polo engine form a 98 polo. it has covered 75,000 miles and was looked after right up until it was removed for the conversion, it has a custome inlet manifold to run the gsxr k1 600 throttle bodies and also a custon vacum rail for the throttle bodies too. included with this is the engine, a gearbox from a 1 Ltr polo, engine loom, throttle bodies, manifolds and also 4 airfilters for the bodies. engine has been sanded down and painted black. i will get pics up as soon as i can.

not 100% on price but workin out on how much it all cost me to build i will take 500ono for the lot, very reasonable price for what you're getting.

pm me or text me on 07900984877 for any questions

pics will come soon

what engine management were you using with the throttle bodies mate, or planned to use? as you surely couldnt run the gsxr itbs on std afh management?

was lookin to either use emerald or megaquirt mate, but probs emerald due to the price and reliability

cool megasquirts cheap but emerald has far more goodies and features, probably the route I'm going down then i get stick my lupo gti lump in itbs.

not a bad price for the engine too, would be tasty with a set of lairy cams in and a bit of porting and polishing

cheers dude, will be good engine for anyone wanting raw power!!! stiil on case of pics, been busy. can email if wanted jus pm me
