Basically I'm painting the polo Matt black, I no most of you opinions hate it, but I love it and I've always wanted a Matt black car so I'm doing it :) but if I didn't have time to do the hole thing in one go and done it over two weekends, at what percentage of the car being painted would I have to notify the dvla or get the log changed?

Thats because the roof and rear pillars are part of the shell and not bolt-on panels. The shell of a Harlequin is all one colour.

Harlequin trivia time eh? They are also made in batches of four - solid coloured cars, the panels were then switched around. Harlequins are always symetrical in colour...
