Fog light wiring kit

Featured Replies

Ok so I have been thinking I might start making and selling oem style foglight looms It will save people alot of time at scrap yards etc and they would be pretty much plug n play looms and a wire from fuse box to switch!, car media do just the loom for £30 Then you have to pay postage on top, but you have to drill your chasis leg to earth Them! but the ones i make you dont, I was thinking £20 posted for the fog wiring an wire to for the switch! Anyone interested if I get 4 people interested minimum I'll do them!

Was also thinking about doing a front grill cut out swap service ie you send me your grill I send you one with the right bits cut out! I have a couple waiting to be cut already!

What do you reckon?

Very Interseted in this. I'm just not sure exactly what you mean. I would hae to buy the fogs and the switc myself, are we talking about the oem front foglight switch, ie the one you pull out once for front fogs?

Cheers

yes you need to have that switch and the fogs before hand and then, then all you need is to fix the fogs to the car plug all the wiring in and to change a fuse in the fuse box

ill even supply a bigger fuse!

Check you loom first to see if you haven't got them if not, this kit should work, also if you pull your headlight switch out and check if you have a grey/yellow wire going to pin 13! Let me know what you got! Cheers

BUMP, come on people, this would be awsome for all us 8v owners with no fogs!

ok well i could not get the multi coloured wires but i have the brown and white wires, the fuses and the spades, male and female, also have 2 pairs of the fog plugs, so i will be making 2 looms up soon then I'm just waiting for my grey wire to arrive, i will try put a yellow stripe on them as not to confuse any one with regards to ,y guide and keeping to oem traditions lol, i will let you know when i have the front looms ready and then again for the grey switch wire!
