1.8 conversion on 6N2

Hey I am new, so firstly, hello to all =].

Basically I got a 6N2, want to do a conversion to a 1.8 turbo. I have been told a cupra engine from a seat will bolt straight in. altho I'm not so sure.

I want to do all the work myself, as I have a good knowledge of what I am doing, altho not the best, so here is the deal...

I am not so sure about things that connect from new engine to old polo parts, for example, drive shafts, and engine mounts...

Wether there are parts that I can buy off the self, Thats what I am asking. I phoned up a company called The Phirmm, And they told me they use modified Audi TT brackets. But that still confuses me a bit as what way they would need to be modified. So, has anyone done the conversion that can give me some information? would be much appreciated.

I know of 4 1.8T 6N2's, all of which are on here,

the owners are,

Dubpolishers

So perhaps asking one of those people would help.

It's not really something you can do yourself, as there is a lot of custom fabrication and testing and re-testing to be done.

I think most of the above also used the Audi TT/S3 engines aswel, not the Cupras.

I'm a fabricator by trade, Well, Used to work for a company called Farbio... www.farbiosportscars.com if any of you are interested in what it is. And now I am a coach builder. I know its not mechanics on cars as such. but still got a good know how. but things such as drive shafts, engine mounts, maybe even looms, I would get from a company called The Phirmm. can always give it a go aye lol.
