With wheels, suspension and air filter declared the cheapest insurance i can find is £1600

TBH youll struggle on a modified car at 18, try quinn or brentacre, adrian flux etc. But thats probably about as cheap as it will get

Shop round, MK Postcode probs don't help, store it in your garage, bump up the exess, sack the air filter off as its an 'engine mod' Liverpool victoria were ok when I was with em, just spend the day on the phone.
