I brought a pair of doors and a bootlid from a well modified G that had the windows tinted but only very slightly (light smoke) and it looked good. Its when the windows are mega tinted that sometimes it can look pants. See afew foreign motors with the windows tinted DIY stylee and they just make me chuckle as all you notice is the bubbles that haven't been removed.

what ever you do dont every use the tinting spary. i fucked my car you useing that shit, when i did the rear window there was a few gaps from where i masked it up and the paint ran down the window and got into every little hole and stained bits of the car , when i shut the boot it ran down a tiny hole and went all over the rear bumper so my car looks like it had shat its self , that shit runiend my car

my mate does tints for a living and charges £80 for a 3 door or £120 for a 5 door. thats every window obviously expect the windscreen top class work aswell

Surely that's because you sprayed it on the car, instead of removing the glass? If you'd have taken the glass out, you wouldn't need to mask it, so not missing anywhere, and you won;t end up with overspray running anywhere but the floor.

had a car behind me at the lights the otherday and i thought i was seeing things he'd tinted his windscreen so much i couldnt even see in the car i thought tinting it at all was a bad idea but dark tinting your windscreen is just asking for death

where does you are friend do it, £80 seems like a good price, all the places near me are like £200... some even £300! x

£80 is a brilliant price tbh, but it depends on the quality of the film aswel.

My tints were made from OEM tint spec material.

You can get really cheap shite which looks blueish and purpleish and really plasticy and shiney.
