Bought this a few weeks ago from a guy who lives near my sister.He

saw i drove a Polo and wondered if i'd be interested in his.The water

pump is busted and it needs new pads and discs.It's T&T until the end

of February 2010 and has 112k on the clocks...

Of course being 20 years old there are some bad bits...

Got a new waterpump and timing belt yesterday from work....£14 inc VAT.

If the weather is good i'll get them on at the weekend.

Friday night about 11.30pm i got a phone call from one of my neighbours

telling me that some young lads were hanging about the car and she thought

she saw one on them trying to get into it,so i pulled on my clothes grabbed

my bat and ran out the door...they had a good 500yards on me and were

off their mark as soon as they saw me...there was no way i could catch them.

So i came back to the car to find they had smashed the drivers side rear window.

I was fooking raging...jumped in my G40 and went after them...i never got them

though,which is probably a good thing because i was seriously going to hurt

one or all of them and deffo would have ended up in a cell for the weekend.

I'll get a couple of pictures of the damage up today at some point....

There is some right nice people about man, and you know that if you'd caught them and smashed em up, that the police wouldnt even be interested in the fact they were trying to steal your car, lucky you got the phonecall when you did.

Imagine if they had bent the top of the door out, scrap man wouldnt have rubbed his hands together even more!

What are you plans for it, other then sorting the window and rust?

Bastards! But fairplay to the neighbour for calling, i hate leaving my saloon anywhere really other than the driveway. This has potential though, whats the next plan of action??
