This is why I have sent it to storm so they can do the management and get it running. Not sure what a fuel cut defender is, I didn't do any of the engine work myself.

Ok mate, any chance of taking a pic of how its driven, what belt. everyone I've seen has ran separate management system but I'm looking into not, and using a fuel cut defender, it stops your ecu tripping out with the boost.

Have just converted my 6n2 1.4 match to 1.6 gti and 6 speed box, must get some pics of build up.

There maybe a few photos that can help u on page 1 of how it is driven. Not sure how big the belt is, if that is what u r askin? Storm r going to be changing one of the pulleys to a smaller one (not the charger pulley) and a smaller belt, cus runs to close to each other.

Apparently you can't remap the original ecu to take the charger, so I have heard. That's y every one uses a different ecu system.

There is a guy called Casper on club lupo, who has charged his lupo gti with an eaton m45 and has done the work himself. He might be able to give more advice than me.

I'm using megasquirt on my eaton charged polo 6n and doing all the work myself with the helping hand of a brainy mate whos helping me stick a base map on it until i can get it properly done........ ;)

I wish I had the knowledge to have done it my selfe, it would have saved me loads of money. Lol

the ecu prob is the one I've heard just cant understand why it cant, will have to do a bit of digging, I'm in no hurry just going to pick the bits up as I go along and once got everything, do it. i do know the ecu,s do vary as when running the 1.4 8v ecu was bosch, now running gti loom and ecu its seimens.

If you are using a decom plate, go for a 2mm plate. As I have a 1mm and storm development thinks this might be a problem. Just thought this might help.

I've got a 2mm decom plate intercooler, the engine is a 6n2 AFK 100bhp engine I'm using the entire 6n2 loom interior loom dash etc and running megasquirt 2 V3 but it has been a very very very long process and has cost me about as much as your has tisdub. It hasnt saved me much money really but i know when its all done and i start her for the first time it will be like I've achieved something!

Cheers Lads much appreciated
