Low MK2 Golf. 4 Door.. 450 Cheap!

Featured Replies

1988 F reg.

It's a 1.6 petrol 4+E, she pulls really nice

Easily gets 40 mpg

122k miles

Recently had gear linkages replaced (selects like new now)

Lowered on height adjustable coilovers

Interior is mint apart from a little bit of watermark on the drivers doorcard.

Bodywork isn't perfect, theres a few small dents smaller than a 5 pence piece but it is nearly 22 years old now.

Slight rust starting on front wings (This seems to be common on mk2s)

The engine tappets need doing. but I've had them checked by a good mechanic who said it isn't doing any damage or making it slower or anything, it just makes a tapping noise.

It has 1 months TAX (iirc) and 10 months MOT.

Comes on 195/45/14 Falkens which are in need of changing on the front
