hay guys

i am sorry if this has been asked for a lot but i searched and googled and couldnt find what i wanted

right i have a polo 6n with a 16v bumper and would like to fill the hole where the number plate is and also the 2 top holes over where the fogs are

if anyone could link me to a good guide on how to do this or just some progress photos would be a big help

yeah its a good guide, but plastic welding takes ages and it fucking stinks. Get your self a hot glue gun and some spare plastic to fill in the gaps. glue them in, filler it, sand, prime and spray!!

alex - I've got a guide that angus (mctangus) did for me as I'm smoothing my bumper soon, ill PM it over too you

To fill the plate you need to plastic weld a plate. Make sure you use the same type of plastic or theres a good chance it won't go very well.

have PM'd you the guide i have but dont know if youll get the pics too, if not let me know and ill bring the laptop up too olivers =D lol

For the plate recess, you can use a piece from an 8v rear bumper.....they have the same lines and are of the same plastic

Just as Olly said, I used a part of a rear 8v bumper, cut it to size and plastic welded it in, then a bit of filler. Also used more parts of the rear 8v bumper to make plates for the top 2 grills. Took me just under half a day to get it to the primer stage.
