Alright polo people :-D , just looking for some help here.

Its for my mums polo, its a 1.4 , (2000)reg 3 door polo I'm not sure what mk it is, possibly mk4 ???

anywayway the spring snapped and the top shocker mount collapsed this is why it failed the mot.

I was up the scrappy to try and get another one but they didnt have any the same age and the top looked a lot diffrent i think it was mk3's they had, so is the spring/shoker set i need specific to whatever mk hers is or can i take them off earlier models or newer models?

Failing that can someone tel me the best place for stock replacement parts, I'm on eurocarparts just now but just incase theres better places.

well its just the offside front i need so unless your wanting to split the set then , cheers for the offer but no thanks. :-)

Also, do you know how much roughly ill be looking at for either a new or 2nd hand spring/shock set.
